Under the national program of the government, the Vitamin A Plus campaign has been started in Chittagong Port Hospital. Rear Admiral M Shahjahan, Chairman, Chittagong Port Authority, inaugurated the Vitamin A Plus Campaign at the port hospital on Sunday (12 December) at 11 am.
Member of the Chittagong Port Authority (Administration and Planning) Md. Zafar Alam, Member (Finance) Md. Kamrul Amin, Member (Harbour and Marine) Commodore Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, Member (Engineering) Capt. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Director (Administration) Md. Mominur Rashid, Chief Finance and Accounting Officer Md. Elias Reza, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mosharraf Hossain, and Secretary Md. Omar Farooq and other senior officials of the port were present.
On the opening day, 520 children were given vitamin A capsules and a message on nutrition was circulated among the parents.
