Jubayer Ahmed of Hydrography Department received the award for using the highest number of e-files

Jubayer Ahmed, Chief Assistant of the Hydrography Department, Chittagong Port Authority, was awarded for using the highest number of e-files. He was awarded for being the highest user in the first month of the initiative taken by the Chittagong Port Authority to increase the use of e-files instead of using conventional documents or files. On Wednesday (3 November), the award was handed over to him by the Chairman of the port authority, Rear Admiral M Shahjahan, in the conference room of the port building. Board members, directors, and department heads were present at the time. The prize included cash and a certificate. In response to receiving the award, Jubayer Ahmed said, ‘Rewards are not usually given formally in government institutions. This initiative of the port will be a milestone. My colleagues will also be encouraged to receive this award.’ Jubayer Ahmed joined Chittagong port in 2013 as a low-level assistant cum computer operator. He is currently working in the post of Chief Assistant after getting rapid promotion due to his talent and efficiency.
