Captain Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, (E), psc, BN has joined as a new member (Engineering) of Chittagong Port Authority. He submitted the joining letter to Md. Zafar Alam, the acting Chairman on 21 November. Captain Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman was appointed as a member (Engineering) through a departmental order signed by Md. Mominur Rashid, Director (Administration) on 22 November. Earlier, he was employed at the Bangladesh Coast Guard Headquarters.
Captain Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman was appointed as a member (Engineering) of Chittagong port on 3 November by the Ministry of Shipping through a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration. And the previous member (Engineering) Commodore M. Neamul Hasan was assigned to the Department of Secondary and Higher Education for appointing him as a Dean of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU).
