Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said that all necessary facilities for exporting goods directly from Sylhet will be ensured. Necessary steps have been taken to transport passengers as well as goods directly to different countries from Osmani International Airport.
He made the remarks while inspecting a cargo terminal, which is under construction at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet on 26 November. Earlier, he inspected the progress of the construction of export cargo complex and toured various parts. The Foreign Minister also urged the concerned to complete the construction of the cargo complex in time.
Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet M Kazi Emdadul Islam, Osmani International Airport Manager Hafiz Ahmed and other local political leaders were present on the occasion.
