The World Bank is providing a loan to build a sustainable power system

The World Bank is providing 50 crore dollars as loan assistance to Bangladesh. The World Bank has approved a loan of 50 crore dollars to build a modern, reliable and sustainable power supply system in the country. In Bangladeshi currency, this is about Taka 4 thousand 250 crore.


World Bank’s Dhaka office informed the media that the loan was approved by the World Bank’s Washington office on Wednesday (22 December).
According to the Dhaka office, the World Bank has approved the loan to Bangladesh under the Electricity Distribution Modernization Program.
