Navy warships return home after training in Sri Lanka and the Maldives

After the training tour of Sri Lanka and the Maldives, the navy warship ‘Abu Ubaidah’ has reached Chittagong naval jetty. When the ship arrived at the Chittagong naval jetty on Wednesday (5 January), it was greeted band playing musical instruments according to the tradition of the navy. At that time, naval officers and sailors including the captain of BNS Issa Khan were present.

A total of 248 sailors including 27 officers led by Captain M Ashrafuzzaman, the captain of BNS Abu Ubaidah ship participated in the training tour. By participating in this tour, the ship is expected to play an important role in enhancing the professionalism of the officers and sailors of the Bangladesh Navy as well as strengthening good relations with friendly neighbouring countries. The ship left Bangladesh on 14 December for the tour.
