The export sector has reached a new milestone in 2021. EPB has given information about the export of 39 billion dollars (total of 3 thousand 913 crore and 94 lac dollars or 39.14 billion) goods. This is the highest in one calendar year or one Christian year.
In the year 2020, the first year of COVID-19, goods worth 336 crores and 53 lac dollars (33.6 billion) were exported. Compared to a year ago, this time the exports have increased by 16.46%.
Exporters say that the overall export growth of the first six months of the current 2021-22 fiscal year from July to December is also the highest so far.
