Ambassador of the Netherlands visits Chittagong port

The Ambassador of the Netherlands is paying a courtesy call on the Chairman of the Port Authority

Dutch Ambassador to Bangladesh Anne van Leeuwen has visited Chittagong port. On Wednesday (16 February) he visited the port. As per the pre-arranged schedule, the Ambassador paid a courtesy call on Rear Admiral M Shahjahan, Chairman of the Port Authority. He later exchanged views with senior officials in the port conference room.

During the exchange of views with the officials, the overall activities of the port were highlighted through PowerPoint presentations. Later, discussions were held on various bilateral issues. After the discussion, the Ambassador and his entourage inspected the operational activities of the port. At this time, relevant officials including the port Secretary Md. Omar Faruk, Deputy Director of Security Major Md. Wahidul Haque and Assistant Terminal Manager Md. Ashraf Karim Chowdhury were present.
