The proper use of investment must be ensured

Saber Hossain Chowdhury said that at present there is a lot of discussion about whether or not investment is being made. This is undoubtedly a big deal. But we also need to keep an eye on investors in these sectors, ensure proper use of investments, and realize our potential to bring out positive results from these investments. In such a situation, there is no alternative to involving more and more young people. At the same time, we need to increase our research. It is important to have a detailed knowledge of what we will do and how we will do it.

This was stated by Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Environment, Forests and Climate Change at a program titled ‘Roadmap to Cop 27 Conference’ organised by Youth Policy Forum (YPF) at a hotel in Dhaka on Thursday (17 February).

This is not the only problem nor is this the only solution for the problem. There is a shortage of fresh water in the northern part of the country. Especially in Khulna, Satkhira region. This will present as a massive problem in the next 20-25 years. Salinity in water is increasing. As a result, different areas of the country are becoming increasingly uninhabitable. The type of employment is changing. Many are being forced to change jobs. As a result, internal migration is increasing.
