Four organisations will provide eight services to customers at the Investment Development Authority (BIDA) office in Dhaka. These are the Office of the Chief Boiler Inspector, Directorate of Explosives, Meghna Bank Limited, and One Bank Limited.
Directorate of Explosives, Issuance of License for Explosives, Renewal of Explosives License Services will be available at BIDA Office. At the same time no-objection certificate for importing boilers and boiler registration and certificate issuance, boiler certificate renewal (including inspection) and change of ownership will be provided. There will also be the facility to open an account with One Bank and Meghna Bank online.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the four organisations for system integration with BIDA Online One-Stop Service Portal. Monzur Mofiz, Managing Director of One Bank Limited, Sohail R.K. Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of Meghna Bank, Abdul Mannan, Chief boiler inspector, and Nayeb Ali, Chief explosives inspector, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at the BIDA office on Wednesday (23 February).
It was further informed at the signing ceremony that BIDA has already signed MoUs with 35 organisations and 56 services of 18 organisations will be available through OSS.
