Import-export trade begins in Hili

After a six-day shutdown for May Day, Eid-ul-Fitr, and weekly holidays, all activities of the port, including import-export trade between India and Bangladesh, resumed on Saturday (7 May) through Hili land port in Dinajpur.

The import-export activities of the port started in the morning with the entry of cargo trucks from India into the country.

Mostafizur Rahman, General Secretary of the Hili Land Port Import-Export Group, said that the import-export trade activities at Hili land port were closed for six consecutive days from 1 to 6 May. After the holiday, import-export activities resumed with the entry of cargo trucks from India into the port. At the same time, all activities including unloading of goods from Indian trucks, loading Bangladeshi trucks, and deliveries have started inside the port.
