Director of the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) Miss Eno Ebang praised the ongoing progress of the Bangladesh government’s activities. She reiterated the US government’s support for the continued development of Bangladesh’s inland shipping sector.
The Director of USTDA said these things during a meeting with the visiting State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury MP at the headquarters in Washington DC on Monday (1 August).
The State Minister for Shipping expressed gratitude for the cooperation of the United States Government in the progress of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Inland Shipping Authority Chairman Commodore Golam Sadeq and other members of the delegation from Bangladesh were present at this time.
The State Minister for Shipping is visiting the US at the invitation of USTDA to participate in the ‘Bangladesh Inland Waterways Management Reverse Trade Mission’ organised by USTDA.
