Korean-flag ship MV Woohyun Hope arrived at Mongla port with the cargo of the steel structure of the under-construction Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Railway Bridge over the Jamuna River. The ship arrived at jetty no. 7 of the port on Saturday (6 August) afternoon.
The vessel brought 2 thousand and 350.63 tonnes of fabricated steel in 267 packages for the railway bridge construction project. The ship left for Mongla port from Hai Phong port in Vietnam last 25 July.
These steel structures for the railway bridge were built by IHI Infrastructure Asia Limited of Vietnam.
