The sixth Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair-2023 will be held in the US on September 22-23 with the theme ‘Exploring opportunities towards Smart Economy’.
The Ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh approved the event and enlisted it in its calendar. Apart from that, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has agreed to support the event.
Muktdhara New York and USA-Bangladesh Business Links, in association with the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, are going to organise the two-day event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York, said a press release.
The EPB is working to increase the number of participants in the trade show so that the volume of exports to the US increases further. Those interested in participating must submit their application to EPB before April 18.
Biswajit Saha, the founder of Muktdhara New York, said the EPB already invited businesspeople of the banking and finance services, capital market, apparel and textile, medical and pharmaceutical, agro and agro-processed, food and beverage, it and it-enabled services, leather and leather goods, handloom and handicrafts, jute and jute diversity products, and real estate sectors to take part in the trade show.
Biswajit Saha also said apart from stalls of Bangladeshi products, there will be a seminar on the export of Bangladeshi products to the USA and IT-related seminars for mainstream American businessmen.
