Land ports in the country to remain closed for Eid-ul-Fitr

Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India will remain suspended for 5-10 days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, port authorities said on Tuesday. However, immigration services at all the ports will remain open.

Sonahat land port will remain shut for nine days, from April 19 to April 27. Hili land port in Dinajpur will resume activities on 25 April, while Benapole land port will resume from Monday (April 24)

Sonamasjid land port in Chapainawabganj will remain suspended for 6 days, while the Banglabandha land port will be closed for 10 days on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr, and weekly holidays.
