The country’s foreign-currency dealers and banks have once again increased the exchange rate, now for export proceeds only, by 50 paisa, bringing it to Tk. 107.50 per dollar.
The decision was made during a meeting held on Monday between the Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers’ Association (BAFEDA) and the Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB).
At the meeting, it was decided to increase the exchange rate for export proceeds by 50 paisa to Tk. 107.50 per dollar, while the rate for inward remittance remained unchanged.
