George Flaggs, Jr., the Mayor of the city of Vicksburg, Mississippi State, USA, and the Chairman of the Warren County Port Commission, which manages Vicksburg port, praised the progress of the government led by the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina. He said this when State Minister of Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury MP visited Vicksburg port on Friday (5 August).
The Mayor informed the State Minister about the city and the port. At this time, the Mayor expressed his interest in traveling to Bangladesh.
Commodore Golam Sadeq, Chairman of BIWTA, representatives of the Ministry of Shipping and BIWTA along with officials of the US Trade and Development Agency were present during the port visit.
