Chittagong Port goes ahead 3 steps to the 64th position in Lloyd’s List

Chittagong port has moved up 3 steps to the 64th position in Lloyd’s List of top 100 ports in the world. Lloyds, the world’s oldest maritime journal, published the list on Thursday (18 August) based on the calculation of container movements of various ports around the world in 2021. The position of Chittagong port was 67th in Lloyd’s List of 2021.

In 2021, Chittagong port handled a total of 32 lacs 14 thousand and 548 TEU containers, which is 13.2% more than the previous year.

Regarding the location of Chittagong port, the list says that the main seaport of Bangladesh has returned to its original self.
