Five new services have been added to the One-Stop Service (OSS) portal of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). With this, 56 services of 18 companies are available on BIDA’s OSS portal in two years.
This information was given by BIDA’s Executive Chairman Sirajul Islam at a press conference held at BIDA’s Conference Room on Sunday (12 December).
Executive member of the organization Abhijit Chowdhury and director Jiban Krishna Saha Roy were present at the conference conducted by BIDA’s Assistant Director Abujar Gifari Tamal.
BIDA’s Executive Chairman said that BIDA’s OSS Portal started its journey in 2019 with only two services. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, 5 investment services have been added to the OSS portal. These services of 18 companies are running 24/7.
Five new services have been added: Recommendation of BIDA’s III Ad Hoc IRC, Issuance of Income Tax Certificate to foreign nationals through National Board of Revenue, Issuance of Export Registration Certificate through the Office of the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports, providing Trade License of Chattogram City Corporation, and Providing Country of Origin through Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
From now on, domestic and foreign investors will be able to avail themselves of these services through BIDA’s OSS portal.
