Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to visit New Delhi in early September at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Returning to Dhaka after the Bangladesh-India Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting in the Indian capital, he told reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday (20 June) that the probable date of the Prime Minister’s visit to New Delhi could be in the first ten days of September.
The Foreign Minister said that the Prime Minister’s office would finalize the date of the visit. The timeline of the visit was fixed in the talks of the Foreign Minister with Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S Jaishankar.
