The import-export trade of Dinajpur’s Hili land port started after the Eid holidays for 8 consecutive days. Import and export of goods from India resumed on Saturday (16 July) after the six-day closure for the holy Eid-ul-Azha and the weekend holiday on Friday and Saturday.
Sohrab Hossain, Public Relations Officer of Panama Port Link Limited of Hili land port, said, ‘Though import and export were stopped on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, all activities of the port were operational. Meanwhile, the importers have been able to unload the goods stuck at the port.’
