The authority has instructed the officials and employees to be frugal in the use of electricity in all establishments, offices, residential areas, and educational institutions of Chittagong Port. The directive was issued through a general circular signed by the Director (Electricity) on Thursday (21 July).
The circular said that according to the instructions of the government, in order to save electricity, all the facilities of the port, offices, residential areas, and educational institutions should be frugal in the use of electrical equipment and electrical appliances. Apart from this, it has been asked to ensure that all tools and devices are switched off after use.
