All kinds of export-import activities of Benapole land port will remain closed from October 2 to 5 on the occasion of Durga Puja, one of the biggest festivals of Hindu community. However, goods clearance and passport passenger movement will be normal at Benapole Customs House and port.
Benapole C&F Agent Association general secretary Emdadul Haque Lata said the authorities of Indian Petrapole land port informed them with a letter that all kinds of import-export activities through the land port will remain suspended due to the Durga Puja holidays. The activities will resume on October 6.
Meanwhile, loading-unloading activities, clearance and customs duties of the goods will remain normal despite the suspension of trading activities.
