AKM Shamsuzzaman Russell has been elected unopposed as the Chairman of Bangladesh Ship Handling and Berth Operators Association (BSBOA) biennial elections. Apart from this, Mostafizur Rahman was elected as the first and Asad Khan as the second vice chairman, according to a press release. Election Board Chairman Tarek Kamal, Member Anwar Hossain Majumder Shimul and Member Ashish Bhattacharya announced the final results of the election. The elected directors in the committee are – Jasim Uddin Bhuiyan, Md. Nashir Uddin, Khalilur Rahman Nahid, Noor-un-Nabi Imran, Mohammad Dastgir, Zahir Uddin Jewel, Haji Jan-e-Alam, Zubair Hasan Chowdhury and Fuad Hasan Iram.
